i'm gonna re-chrome my salad shooters like this:

you gonna do the same finish with the center caps too? That's always the issue I have when considering re-finishing shooters. The caps are massive and look really awkward when they're the same color, but I like the lettering that's printed on them, so I would feel bad covering that up.

 

the salad shooters i have now the flat part on the center cap are painted silver. it looks really clean.

ok im going with black. the new problem is that since the bumper has flat black and then if i get painted stripes that are flat black (cuz i cant find vinyl flat black) that flat black rims are kinda hard to find. i was told to steer away from paint cuz they chip.

 

will these fit my car and how much of the rear wheel well will it fill?

I'm not positive about everything, but as far as I can tell it looks like they should work. Just be sure to post pics once they're on

 

should i worry about the whole flat black deal or just forget about it and get the gloss black rims and get regular gloss stripes?

 

I think either way will look great. I would worry more about matching gloss/flat black stripes with the headlight surrounds and the grille. It might be tough to find nice-looking flat-black rims.

 

largest tire i've heard of fitting on a 4th gen WITHOUT modding the car to make them fit was a 305mm rear tire. on that 9.5" rim you're gonna get at MOST a 245mm tire. it's basically a stock width rim
