better deal for the money
I have 2 options. One is a 94 z28 for $4600. It is in excellent condition with a little over 70000 miles. The other is a 94 v6 with a little over 200000 miles for $2000.
The z28 is in great condition and the v6 is in decent shape.
My question is what would be a better deal here? I love the speed of the v8 but the price of the v6 is more appealing.
How fast is the v6 compared to the v8?

I've had both, went from a 94 v6 to a 96 Z28. The performance difference is night and day. When my wife blew the doors off my v6 with her Chrysler mini van is when I started looking to "upgrade".
Sure, the v6 is cheaper, partly because it's not a Z28, and also because of the high miles. By simple wear and tear, you can expect the v6 car to be nickle and diming you to death more than the Z28 should. The money you save up front could get eaten up quickly if your trans and/or rearend goes out. And although the Z28 wasn't made to be babied, that doesn't mean it's been beat to crap. You should be able to get a feel from the seller by talking to them, whether or not they took good care of the car. The car's appearance alone can say a lot about how well the owner cared for everything else.

New exhaust mani gaskets jnstalled as well, the old one on the left side was ripped and leaking exhaust. I also put a walboro 255 lph fuel pump in the fuel tank because i though thatz why it was dying on me, but it was the opti
Im asking for anything over 2k dollars. I got the car for 1.2k and rebuilt the trans with tons of upgrades by myself+ all the other work. So around 2k is what itll take to get my money back and i got the experience from working on the lovely z28<3
