Default Best Bang for my Buck PERFORMANCE

I have a 1998 3.8 V6 Camaro stock, except for the aftermarket air filter. What's my best bang for my buck to put a little more power under the hood?

thanks

Its hard to add horsepower to that engine without spending significant money. My suggestion for an increase less than 20 hp would be a free flowing exhaust. If you want more than that without spending big money, you might want to look into nitrous.

the car does have an aftermarket air filter, im not sure if it a K&N or not.
there is also an aftermarket exhaust, buts its not a true dual exhaust system.

i was thinking about replacing the air filter with either a cold air intake cone, or a ram air system. has anyone had any luck doing so?

I wouldn't do true duals, as it's more money than I think the sound is worth (unless you do it yourself)... Not cause the V8 guys aren't doing it.

Go with CAI and get a cutout. You'll see some pretty decent gains then.
