so my car is rare? haha. well damn now i wish i had the lt4, haha. dumb question here, but whats different about the lt4 than the lt1? i'm guessing cam and heads, but is there anything else?

well i would go with the 98 and up because the ls1 comes with more power stock and is cheaper to modify (in most cases). Plus i dont know where you live but they also have galvinized underbodies so they dont rust
