can you swap a transmission between a 3.8 v6 and an LT1?
Same bell housing pattern etc.?

No you can't. V6 bell housing mounting patterns are smaller than the v8. (except for the 4.3 V6 which is the same pattern as the V8)

Hey thanks, Thats good info
So "If i have a 700r4 from a 4.3 it will bolt up to my 97 LT1.
If so does any body know what the '97 computer will think about this?
