Question BCM and Alarm, help?

So awhile ago i reflowed my BCM to solve my sparatic alarm problem, but ever since ive noticed my car doesnt sound the horn when i lock it twice, and the running lights dont flash when i unlock/lock it. is this a programming issue? I kinda liked having the lights flash at night when i get in my car lol

On a side note: I have a strange red button on the left side of my column near the vent, you can pull it out and it has 3 disconnected wires on it, i think its aftermarket but i was wondering if anyone would know what it was used for? Ill post a picture when i get a chance (if i remember lol)

Thanks, Devon.

You can program the BCM to flash the lights or honk the horn by doing things with controls in the car. Use your owner's manual to change the settings to what you want.

As for the button... I have no clue I would have to see what is hooked up to what.

Does your car, or did it ever have an aftermarket alarm? That red button sounds like a defeat/bypass/disable switch (pick your favorite term).
