the car is idling at 1200 and i think its because of these two hoses. can you tell me where they go excatly. thanks

 

On both my 3.8's, the fitting in your second picture doesn't have a line attached to it so I think that is ok. I'm not sure exactly what the first pic is showing. I think it's an evap line but it should be together with the two fuel lines. Is this a 6 or 8 cyl?

 

first picture looks like windshield washer fluid line. better look somewhere else to see if you can find a leak. ck thottle to make sure its returning to idle postion, check pvc valve, if it hasnt been changed in a while get a new one anyways. and yep it helps if we know the year and model/engine.
