ANOTHER QUESTION
[:@]Hello again
I just had a new stereo installed in my 'SS and now the interior lights do not work. I brought my car back to the placeandthe guy tells me that the lights are on the same line as the old radio and that is why it is not working. So basically because I have a new radio I will never have lights again. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

complete BS i installed my own radio andive never delt with electrical wiring like this before and my lights and everything still work.. Thats just one of the many reasons i want to do my own work since i wasnt standing over the mechanic while he worked i dont know what he did or didnt do and if hes lying to me ill never know..
He knows that he wont get paid for fixing it thats why hes telling you that BUT now that u know hes lyinghe HAS to fix it im pretty sure you can file a suit since he didnt return your car in working order. I know thats how it works in mechanic shops.

haha...that's funny to me. radio and lights have nothing to do with each other. i installed my own stereo in my car and i guess my dome light doesn't work, but i have a convertible so i don't even have one. he's full of it, take it back and demand he fixes it
I have a 98 SS and that guy is full of it. I rewired my whole audio system with new wires, connectors, speakers, amps, subs, radio, and 4 gauge wires for every wire under the hood and I have no issues. He must of shorted the lights somehow, but before you go chopping heads, see if any fuses are blown.
