Default another low trac question

So I posted about this a couple weeks back or so. Low Trac has come on 4 times in the last 3 weeks. Once was entering my driveway which is gravel. So I buy the fact I could of been going too fast that day. These last 3 aren't the case at all. I was ROLLING like 2 mph in school drop off line this morning and just before coming to complete stop the pedal goes soft, low trac lights up and then I pushed harder to get it to stop and once it corrects itself, it acts like I slammed on brakes. Luckily no one was in front of me any of these times but it scares me that someone might. I try to keep a good braking distance anyway. What could be causing it? I'm on dry pavement and barely moving.

Kind of sounds like a wheel sensor is reporting no motion. Your ABS is trying to release the brakes to free up the “not moving wheel”. I am not saying the wheel is not turning, just the ABS thinks it is not turning. You would really need to be looking at a scan tool when it happens.
This would not set an ABS light since it just thinks its ice. Once/if the sensor fails completely then the ABS will set a code.

Just a guess.

With my luck, there's no codes being thrown. The engine light doesn't come on with it either but what you said does make sense. It did ok today but I am so cautious with braking. I guess it helps that 2 of our other cars has the Progressive Insurance Snapshots in them and they beep at hard braking which sometimes isn't really what I consider HARD lol

When I first bought it 3 years ago, the ABS light was on. They never did determine what the issue was with that. No codes and taking the right front wheel off and looking around seemed to of turned it off. If it was this, is it something that can be done at home or more difficult? I am gonna take it in after Christmas and have a few small things looked at.

None of this started until my front brakes were replaced with pads and rotors. Could this of triggered anything?
