Default another blinker doesnt work

im sure everyone has heard this one before. the driver side blinker doesnt blink...the bulb isnt burnt out. It is acting like there is a loose/bad connection, I took the taillight out and all of a sudden he blinker started doing its thing..then i re-installed it and it stopped. sometimes when i hit bumps on the road it will randomly start working or stop working.

I looked at all the connections I could find, as well as grounds, but no luck (more than likely I did not find them all). I looked at the connections located underneath the berger panel and the drivers side in the back of the car. I checked, what appeared to be a ground spot right next to the rear hatch latch, as well as the ones near the radiator (that worked in another thread for someone who had the same problem) but no dice.

Where else did I miss something to look at and what else could be the problem?

look in the lite socket itself. the connectors in there may be worn or need to be bent to get a better connection, either on the socket or bulb. also look at the wires going into the socket they may be damanged.

i may need to take a closer look inside the socket, i did look in there but it appeared to not be the issue granted i didnt inspect it too well. the wires looked undamaged

my front right turn indicator wasn't working. i found out it was not getting a good connection between the bulb and socket. i then toke some tin foil and warped the bottom of the bulb and now it works just fine.

update: the socket look fine, like the turn signal switch was the problem, put in a new bulb and now the only thing that doesnt work is the blinking action of the signal...the hazards work just fine. so apparently even though the bulb hadn't burnt out something was wrong with the bulb....and at the same time the switch.
