new to the site. drive a 94 base model. debating on putting headers on or just save up for supercharger. also need interior help. thanks for the help!!

What supercharger are you looking at? If you do go that route, your engine will need upgraded and headers any ways to see full gains.

im not sure yet. if you know of any good ones thatd help. but iv read aroun and some people say it was a waste to do headers. just save for a supercharger/turbo.

just keep it nice and when youve saved enough sell the base and buy a z28 or ss

iv thought about that also. but iv grown attached to it. its a great running car. just want more HP already kinda started on my sound system. just lacking a little money.

I think it's three posts to post pics. So you should me good now.

Honestly, if it were the 3800, a decision to do mods is easier. But the 3400 isn't really a good engine to start a horsepower build on. Not saying you can't do it or that no one has done it, it's just fact. But if you are dead set on doing it with the 3400, we are here to help.

well how much trouble is it to put a 350 in it? and if I stick with my motor now what all can I do to it to add a little hp.

A lot. It can be done but it takes a lot of time and money and essentially a whole donor car to do it right.

Here's a link to one of our forum members who went above and beyond what most do with the V6. Remember though, his is the 3.8L not the 3.4L so parts for his are a little easier to find.

Honestly, if I were you, I'd get the current Camaro as clean as you can and sell it for either the 3.8L (96+) or one of the V8s and then mod it. The 3.4L is a good daily driver, but it's hard to find performance parts for it which is one reason I think most people drop it for something else.

yeah I thought about it. but I wanna get it looking good. im lookin to get a truck when I get done with this. so I don't wanna put to much into it. whats something I can do to make it sound good but I don't want it to be all exhaust.
