I can't give you a definitive answer but I thought they did something special w/red ones SS and this checkered striping, there is one locally guy wants 28k, but didn't they all have badging or at least the Z28s? Not much help but good luck with your research

2002 was the 35th year of production for the Camaro model. The problem with calling all 2002 Camaros as 35th Anniversary cars is that there was an actual 35th Limited Edition Anniversary Camaro SS and people tend to try and lump the two together. People don't refer to a 1996 as a 29th Anniversary Camaro because there was no actual 29th Anniversary edition. More times than not, this reference is used when the car is offered for sale and seller hopes to get the higher price the Limited Edition usually brings.

The way I saw it is that the Limited Edition SS was their special 35th anniversary car. But technically all 2002 Camaro's are 35th anniversary due to the manufacturing date and the 35th anniversary plaque that they all got on the dash. The LE SS is just a special edition model.

some like the red ss. cars with stripes are marked 35th on the car seats so on is an le1 ,but rare most are not ,but yes there all 35th year some were marked some not ,though they should all have a code on the door if they are or not so its catch 22 while they are al 35th year cars like said few are le1 ,an some v6 cars had 35th on the seats but not an le1

All '97 and all '02 were 30th and 35th anniversary cars, respectively. But not all were 30th and 35th anniversary limited edition cars.
Honestly, it's not really worth arguing about unless you were selling/buying one. Even then, the price only becomes a factor on the V8 cars.
