im guessing seing how it didnt have aluminum heads, it wasnt reverse.

 

all lt1's have reversed cooling, it would be just has much work swapping a ls1, you need the chassis harness, engine harness, dash harness, dash, gauge cluster, fuel pump.

he does, he was asking about swapping a LS1, its almost as much work going from a v6 to v8.

 

hm i thought the 97 had the same dash and gauges as the 98+... it looks different than the 95 and older for sure.

You wouldn't have to replace the transmission if you're going from a LT1 to an LS1...

 

What about getting like a jasper motor put into the car? 3 year 36000 mile warranty. Unfortunately the jasper engine will cost almost 3000. Also i was reading the stuff they change does anyone know if they make more or less power?
