Default Aftermarket Parts

In a few days, I will hopefully be picking up a '93 Z28, with the LT1 and 4L60E (I think that's right) transmission. I was wondering if anyone knew any good websites to find good aftermarket parts to boost HP and torque. Please and thank you.

Summit Racing is a good one. Also check out Speed Engineering. I ordered a pair of headers from them and they're pretty good.

93 has a 4l60 also called 700r4. check the build threads, should give you some info to work with, my build is a 93. https://camaroforums.com/forum/93-02-projects-109/93-camaro-lt1-build-crabys-42437/ keep in mind the 93 has many parts that are different than any other camaro.

Thanks. I'll have to check out speed engineering. And I'll make sure I remember that the parts are different. But I won't be doing too many modifications. This will be becoming my new daily driver.

ok theres a bolt on sticky on here that goes over the easier hp adders. cold air intake is a good start, headers are a pluss, what state you in, long tube headers are what you want but are not allowed in cali. and another is a good cat back exhaust. after add ons are in get a tune at a place like http://www.lt1pcmtuning.com/service/ will bring out some hidden hp and possibly add some mpg.

Thanks. I've looked at getting some long tube headers (I'm in PA, so it's all good). I think they sound better than their shorty counterparts any ways. As far as cold air intakes go, I've looked around quite a bit, but haven't found any that are real nice, but still on the inexpensive side.

At 18 years of age (your car), you can rest assured that the aftermarket isn't making new designs. What's out there is it.

Your question is basically one that's been asked/answered countelss times; again because the cars are so old that the questions naturally have all already been asked. There are stickies as well as use the search feature

good luck and welcome

if you want something like a good CAI for a reduced price, you're probably best off figuring out what you want and looking on CL, LS1tech, or ebay for used examples.

here are a couple of other sites you may find helpful:
