Default Aftermarket hood struts?

Does anyone know where to find aftermarket hood struts or rods for an aftermarket hood?

Can you not fit stock ones on there?

The stock ones do fit, but they are too strong for the aftermarket hoodand itputs too much pressure on it. The aftermarket hood weighs considerably less the original hood.

Can you see the hood bending or breaking? From what I understand, the struts are fine, it's hoods with springs that require the springs to be replaced with aftermarket hoods

they probably will only do for free if you buy them from them with a crazy markup again putting money in their pocket. i highly doubt if you wen in there with them and said can you put these on that they would for free. You could have just found a nice mechanic
