Is there anything wrong with it?

Otherwise, Check brakes, oil, tranny fluid, the typical tune up, but you should be looking these things over before you purchase it. Possibly have the seller take it to advanced auto and run codes on it if the engine light is on.... if there are a few issues, see how much to fix then haggle with the owner and try to drop a few hundred or something. One thing to check before purchasing is make sure the transmission works at full throttle, and make sure the window motors work as well.

What do you mean by transmision working @ full throttle and guys on this forum before said to take a stethoscope and lisen to the engine run. What exacly dose that mean? What sounds should I be looking for and whats good/bad indicators to watch out for with the engine or tranny?

Well the 4l60E Transmissions were notorious for having issues, and one of the major issues was stumbling at WOT and slipping even in between gears. you can also listen to things with the stethoscope, but you really need to know what your listening for. ANother thing with the engine is check for leaks.

What year and model is it?

Is this thread discussing what to do after you buy or what to do before you buy? If you are new to car you should take the car to a trusted mechanic. Pay the half hour for a quick inspection it more then worth it.

The term "Tune Up" is really miss-used these days. A tune up was back when you car have a bunch of adjustment, we used to re-torque the intake and carb even the air hour, set timing adjust choke, verify all the carb linkage was work freely, set timing ect... Car almost always ran better after a tune up.

Now you just have planned maintenance. Sometimes guys will call plugs, wires, fuel filter and air filter replacement a tune up but those are all things that have a set interval of change. If you change something on a modern car and you notice a change in the way the car runs you waited to long before you changed it.

So the question is what maintenance has been done and that will indicate what "needs" done. Start with your owner’s manual. If you want a nice fresh start do the 100K maintenance listed in your owner’s manual.

Hey old timer, you forgot about breaking out the dwell meter too and setting the points and also replacing the condensor.

Golly things are easier now.

It is prbly alot easier for you to take the car to a trusted mechanic and get the pre-purchase check... When you listen through a stethoscope... you really gotta know what your doing. You dont wanna mistake tappet noise with a knocking bearing.... or something like that. Leave that to someone with experience.
