I finally just put dual pipes on my 99 3.8 And it sound like ****. I dont care what type of muff you use, If its not a V8, it shouldnt have dual exhaust. I am almost embaressed to drive it.

 

i completely dissagree with you, there are different sounds with different exhaust, ive heard some mean soundin 3.8's that have nothin but exhaust

The six is better with a y pipe. There is no need for true duels there is not enough back pressure to justify the need. You may be able to make a y pipe near the end and run a 30 series flow master or something to help it out.

 

Its not true dual, its single in dual out.

i have magnaflow... and its the same style... and i like it... but your right nothin beats a V8

Its a replacement Arvin muffler. I have heard them all,,,,,,,,,I need a V8. But, I bought this car with the intention of staying outta trouble. I am happy and lucky to own my car, I pretty much stole it for a grand. I cant complain, but I will.
