The Ac isnt working in my car and the other person who has this car said he brought it in the summer to get a recharge or something. what do i have to do and can i buy this at a store and fix it myself?

 

you cant just recharge the ac if the system doesnt have enough Freon its because you have a leak. you can buy a leak detection kit, you put a dye into the system and use a uv light to see it. or you can take it somewhere and have them check it out.

 

what does "not working " mean? Does the compressor not engage? Does it engage but the air is not cool? Also, I'm a bit confused by the post, are there 2 people who use the car because you mention the other person who has the car did something. Ask him/her what he/she did
