New to the forum, and American in general. Just trying to help a friend get his Z28 fixed so he can sell it. He hasn't really driven it in 10 years and it's pretty damn nice.

Anyway, the AC didn't work. I had to bypass the AC relay to get it charged. Pressures are spot on, but the clutch won't engage with the relay in place. The AC switch only works on high. Is there a test plan I can use the methodically check the system and get the clutch to engage?

 

sorry I dont know squat about ac. takes a different scanner to diagnose, may be worth your while to have a ac shop have a look. not all shops are setup for ac.
