I'm pretty sure the bearing is on its way out on my 97 Z28. Would anyone know if this kit would let me remove the clutch pulley.

It lists a number of AC compressors it will service but I don't know what model is on the LT1. I'm in the UK so not easy to buy/hire the tools. TIA

 

most guys hear would get a new compressor,so not sure hear ,google lt1 compressor for 97 camaro found these part #s 60-00901nc interchange # 1136488 1136491 1136508 113651 you can try to google part #s to for 97 camaro or caprice lt1 they fit both

 

Thanks for the reply. I can get the bearing here for about $15 but a compressor would be expensive and hard to find. I think I will risk the money on the removal kit and have a go. Watch this space
