Default ? about header gaskets

Im about ready to put my engine back togeather now (waiting on parts about ready tokill myself in suspence) and Im wondering about when i put my new headers on should i use some sort of gasket maker like the copper one? They came with the cheap paper gaskets and those got tossed into the garbage and i got some real metal ones to go with them.

w/e you do, dont get plastic ones, those are the number 1 problem why lot of lt1 engines have gasket leaks.

Go to your local auto parts store and see if they carry Mr. Gasket Co. Premium gaskets. They are made out of a substance called Graphoil, which is primarily composed of graphite so it's very heat resistant. They use it to seal some parts on turbines in power plants that my Uncle works at...so it's pretty legit stuff. I burnt through a set of cheap paper gaskets and replaced them with the Mr. Gaskets and haven't had any issues since.
