Default Aaaahhhhhhh

%*#! I took my hood in a couple days ago to get painted. I was supposed to pick it up today. There was 5 % chance of rain so I covered my hood with a bed sheet(dont own a tarp). Im supposed to go pick it up at 3, its currently 1:30..I heard a rumble and all I can think is "Oh my god.." I look outside and its POURING rain. I go into the bathroom, litterally rip the shower curtain off the rings and go outside to cover the engine. Everything is soaked.. Im glad I ordered a new alternator...damn..Im so frustrated..What are the potential damages??

Most people shower their engines with a hose after using degreaser and have no problems. Hell, I've done it in the past because I didn't know any better and haven't damaged a thing. The electrics are all sealed with little rubber insulated pigtails that do a good job of keeping out water and you also don't have a touchy optispark to worry about. I think it'll be fine.
