Default 98+ Headlight covers AND Halos

Does anyone Run Blackout Headlight Covers AND Halos/ Angel Eyes?

I love the angel eye look, but don't too much like the rice-ish looking housings.
Would the Halos Shine through the blackout or smoked headlight covers?
Also, to those with blackout covers how bright are the headlights with the covers on?
I'm running Silverstars (Non-Ultra) Which aren't much brighter than stock halogen.

Thanks in Advance Guys.

Yes I have angel eye on my camaro. Best investment I have ever made. I bought the ones that I bought because of the stock appearence and they look great. They arent a projector HID or anything like that. I have a pic of them on my other computer that I could post. http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/cam...eadlights.html if you go to that link you can see the ones I have. That site has CRAZY prices though, I picked up my HALOS on ebay for around 80 dollars. It makes a difference but the halo is not all that bright. Because the camaro has the automatic headlights at dusk other drivers wont notice during the day unless they are up close. If you connect them to your parking light and turn them on at night though? they look really sick. Thanks bud and good luck finding your perfect headlight.

I do like those headlight. Mostly for the same reason the Stock appearance.
Do You Have any pictures with them installed? I'd love to see them.
Also, Do you run the blackout covers?

I'd like to know what the angel eyes would look like through the blackouts, as I'm going for a Black/White Theme.

I have Angel Halos, I love how they look. My old headlights were very cloudy, I made some attempts to restore them, but just decided to replace them instead. I don't know about these black out covers, something like that would probably be illegal where I live at least. The halos aren't bright though, so I don't think they would even show up through any covering. You could always convert to HID I guess, but the conversion kits (from what I looked at) were expensive and not worth it imo.

Cloudy Lights FTL.
Mine did that too, and I used all the restore kits and such and they only last for a month or two and they go back.

I'm not worried about HID costs, I was prepared to convert to HID if I used blackouts.
I was just wondering how the Halo would shine through.

Out of curiosity,
Did you disable your automatic headlights when you installed your halos?

I really don't see the halos shining through that much even with HIDs. The halos aren't that bright to begin with, they're just a tiny ring. I dunno, I could be completely wrong. I would be afraid that putting a blackout cover on top of the headlights with HIDs are going to cause somewhat of a hazy look and might have a hard time seeing the halos anyway, but it also depends how dark these covers are. I don't know anyone on here that has that done either, so maybe there's a reason why....

But no, I didn't disable my automatic lights. I drive with my lights on no matter what time of day it is.

The halos are not halogens or HIDs... It's just a small LED. It's for appearance, not to be bright.

I have a set of halos I'm selling soon possibly (depending on if I buy this truck). If you like, I can let you know. I also have an HID kit I'd be selling with it 6000k bulbs.

I think that Black Headlight covers are kind of Ugly.

Just purchase a headlight with a black housing, or paint the factory housings you have now.

Also, the halos can be wired into your driving lights so they run all the time rather than only when your lights come on.

Personally, I wired mine into my parking lights so I can turn them on and off whenever I please.
