98 camaro tires
I have a 98 camaro base with 55 option rim, so my tire size is 235/55R16, I live in Iowa and get a ton of snow, so I was planning to put Bridgestone Blizzak WS60 tires, but they come only in 235/60R16 or 235/65R16. So can anyone tell me if I can mount these tires that have a taller sidewall. What will be the side effect of it. Thank you.

yes
i had 2256016's on my car. just took them off it will fit fine. im using them for winter tires now.

They will fit but your speedo will be off slightly because of it. I'd go with 245/50 personally but whatever works for you.

Kal is just saying that not all 6er's came with that size tire. Besides 215/60/16 is actually shorter than the 235/55/16. Just because the second number is bigger, it doesn't always mean a taller sidewall. |
yea mine came with 235/55/16 on her

Mine came with 245/50
The base model got 215/60R16 The RS got 235/55R16 Then the Y87 RPO came with 245/50R16 tires along with other fun stuff. |
mine is an rs, it even came with t-tops, i know that mine are thinner thats why i said he should be fine
