Go out the bottom. Get a good cherry picker to lift the car.

Why not just fix the 3.8? What V6 is better then a 3.8? It two weekend worth of work. Installing ANY other motor will mean 100's of hours or work. Also convered car sell for about the same as non-running parts car. There are very few people that will buy a converted cars.
I am not trying to offened you but do you really know enough about cars to calculate driveline angles to install an engine in a place its not designed to be? You do know you can not just stick a motor in just anywhere? If the angles are off even a deg the drive line will damage itself and the car will shake. There are many professional mechanics out there that do not know how to "Set" a driveline correctly in a car. I understand why you can not see how it would cost 5K to convert to and old school V8. You do not understand what is involved. I am trying to be mean its not your fault your just young. What ever you decide to do you will learn from it. I would just like to see you learn and have a nice dependable car when your done.

Climb on chair, toss rope over rafter, tie around neck, jump. Problems solved. Gene pool saved.

Put the original 3.8 in it, it's an extraordinary engine.

well i would do that but i did get this engine out of a junk yard so a lot of parts are gone and finding all the parts that i need to put into it would be nearly impossible. and yeah i don't exactly know like the exact angle the drive line but that issue i can get my friend for. hes done engine swaps like this before hundreds of times. and ive helped him do about five or six so im sure that i could figure out. seeing how i think the guidelines for the angle or a drive line + or - 5 degrees of straight isn't it.

Which angle are you talking about? According to GM if your drive shaft angles are off 1/2 of a degree the car needs to be adjusted.

BTW
+/- 5 Deg on a 60" drive line would be a 10" variation at the tail shaft.

Find a wrecked Camaro. You should be able to find a complete car for what you are getting for the motor. Once you sell off all the dulicate parts you have you may end up with pretty cheap motor.
