Default 97 base camaro wont start

I have a base 97 Camaro v6 which is dead after replacing the blown front speakers.

When I first replaced the speakers the car would just click as if the solenoid was bad. Then it changed to doing nothing except the BCM clicking when the door is open.

With the BCM attached and the large connector removed the clicking stops. This after I removed the radio too.

The only issue with installing the speakers was one of the wires onside speaker fell off and was contacting the magnet. The other speaker was producing sound with no issue. When I fixed the loose wire the passenger speaker produced sound. I took it out the BCM and re-soldered the relay with no change.

I just removed the speakers and radio and still nothing. Car will not try to start, before it seemed to be the starter solenoid and now there is noting

Any suggestions ??

Tom

Have you checked all of your fuses? Are you sure the battery has a good charge?

Default got it started

Just wanted to say thanx to all the guys that made any suggestions. I got it started. Apparently the BCM drained the battery to the point that even with a charger on it while in the car it still acted up. Took the battery out charged for 24 hrs and that solved the issue.
