Unhappy 95 z28 noise

95 z28, 6spd, 125k miles, started making this tapping noise on acceleration somewhere on the passenger side of the engine. Sound is inaudible at constant speed, does not make the noise at idle. And i do not believe it makes the noise while idling and revving. I changed the oil and put in some lucas additive. Places to start looking? Thanks in advance you guys.

could be a lifter ,pulll the cover an take a look ,sound like also sound like misfiire check plugs wires ,whens the last time you put new wires plugs ,gave it a tune up,if you past that then could be that simple ,how long have you drove it ,there 100.000 mile cars meeing the plugs wires tune up ,do it ,just adding oil adatives wont stop it,could be cap came off ,more likely if you have not give it a tune up misfire ,one time i had bad plug on another car ran 7 cyl it was plugs wires needed start bye pulling the plugs clean them checking wires for cracks an so on ,

I have taken off the passenger valve cover. everything seems normal, and with the engine running looks normal, with no noise. The noise comes when accelerating. I will check plugs and wires. Should i rev with valve cover off to try finding the noise?

Any input? This is a daily driver, 7 days a week. I need to figure this out ASAP!

in the last video it even sounds like it could even be a squealing bearing from an accessory like alternator, A/C, P/S

but, elimintate the easy stuff, remove the valve covers and adjust the rockers and take it from there

First video sounded a lot like an exhaust leak, second video I could hear some squeaking so I'm with torque, I'd check your belt and anything hooked up to it. Could be a bad pulley. What kind of gaskets did you use for the headers? Also did you use locking bolts?

Things looked normal while adjusting valves, could it be an exhaust leak at my header? Someone posted on my Facebook saying they had the same exact sound and it was just an exhaust leak..
