Default 95 Camaro v6 3.8 =Jet Fuel 100 Octine?

Ok I was at my dads work today he works for the airline in newerk airport in jersey.
he was showing me the some jets..
He told me they use 100 octine I was like dammmm.
He showed me the gas I was like I want some of this stuff..
He was like ok put it in the camaro.. I was like really? wait you think it can handle it?
I dont think so I said.. He said try. I was like ok. We took about 5 gallons home.. yeah we took the gas....
he got hook ups... So I drove my car to about E to get rid of the 89 octine...
Soi put some of that jet fuel gas....

hmmmm start her up moments later she was like getting ready to explode.... I was like ****..... then she sounded like a hot rod.. I got in the car and ref it up it was crazy.... I drove it dammm the ***** can move really fast I was kinda nervous on flooring it mabe blow a piston from tooo much octine? I said hmm so I got on the high way on route 80 damm she has power her rpms increased from 2.500 from 5000.. It was a cool....
So guys have to try this stuff wow I wish I had a v8 the sucker will kill

Yea...ummm... I really don't know what to say here. "Jet" fuel is basically Kerosene and is closer to diesel than it is any form of gasoline. Octane is nothing more than the measure of a certain fuels ability to resist detonation, it has nothing to do with a fuels potential energy

Before using that fuel again, you should find out what else is in it. Years ago I used to race go karts with the 5 h.p. 4 stroke Briggs& Scrap-iron engine. For a while we were running airplane fuel (not jet fuel) because WOW it was like110 octane! Come to find out that there was some sort of anti-freeze agent in the fuel due to the fact that planes travel in well below zero degree conditions. After taking the engine apart and seeing all the crusty crap built up on the head and piston, the airplane fuel idea got scrapped. Higher octane isn't going to make the engine perform any better, unless the engine NEEDS higher octane based on it's compression ratio.

And this is one reason I tell people not to use "Av Gas". Yet they still insist on it because "back in the 60's my dad ran it in his bla bla bla and it was the fastest thing in 5 counties".

I read this and I was like damn, what is octine? and then i was like, oh, he means octante, then I was like, damn, his jet fuel and AV fuel are different things. and then I was like damn, octane makes no difference to performance, it probably wasnt moving any better, just behaving differently, and u might have, like, potentially harmed something..... like
