Hello all,

I have a 95 camaro v6 sitting in the driveway. i also have an extra 454 from my chevelle build and thought it would be cool to build a race car. Anyone done this before? I know everyone is thinking why not a small block, but i already have a 600hp bb built and ready to go. what issue's can i expect to run into?

if you go to ls1tech.com and search for 4th gen BB builds theres been a few done over there itd be alot of work and you might hav to change your set up a bit

most likely the main issue you will have is fitting it into the engine bay

the sbc is already a tight fit, to get it in will involve some serious hacking and fabbing. but if u can do it then more power to you. if it were me ide sell that 454, if its as strong as u say then it ought to pull some decent $$$. maybe not quite enough for an lsx build but it'll damn well get u started. just my .02
