95 3.4L vs z28
Hi all I just got a 95 camaro with the 3.4 v6, and was wondering a more precise pros and cons between it and a z28. Obviously HP and MPG, but i was wondering if someone had a ballpark idea on the differences of these things. I love my v6, (just got it actually) but am thinking that when I get taxes back in the spring I might upgrade to a z28 w/ T-tops and a 5 speed. I'm happy I started with a v6 as it surprisingly had a lot more power than i figured it would, but It's in rough shape and for the money to get it back to prestine, I could buy probably pick up a z28 in mint. I figure after about 6 months I'll have a good enough feel of these cars for the V8. It's just going to be a daily driver if I get the z28, but I want to know some things about 4th gen camaros before I jump into the bad boys and thought the v6 was the way to go.
Thanks for any advice guys!

Z28 have 6 speeds not 5 speeds. The sticks can be pricey. You may think your 3.4 is fast but the V8 will be a whole nother world. You will be going from 165 HP to 285 If you stay 97 back with only marginal weight gain. Over 300 hp 97-02. The Z28 has heavier sway bars and spring rates. It will be a stiffer ride. The car will respond in turn better and will not be a "soft". The ride will be ruffer over pot holes you will feel the ruts in the road. Get an insurance quote, While the V6's are cheaper then many cars out there the v8 can be expensive.
i myself have just bought a z28.....ive driven and own many fast vehicles 69 gto and a s10 with a 355.....all are fun but my camaro slides around more when i jump on it and burns less gas !
if u are getting a z28 and already like the camaros u wont regret it.....make sure you drive safe......everytime i drive mine a catch myself squeeling the tires and sliding around the corners !

ok thanks guys, I think I might keep both camaros, have the v6 for my daily driver, and the z28 for my nice day drives. I have a 2 year old son who's usually with me so I don't do a lot of "playing" in my vehicles, besides fun means wore out parts which means money (found that out with my mustang) thanks for the help guys!
