My transmission will not shift into fourth gear or go into overdrive. So I was going to install another transmission anway over time though. So I was wondering what would be the best route to go for my 94 Z28 Camaro. It currently has the stock 4L60E with almost 98,937 miles on it. I need to know, have this transmission rebuilt to my needs or buy a new transmission and if so what to look for. Also should I get a stall converter and if so what would be the best way on that. I plan on doing this over the winter and also purchasing a crate engine or rebuilding mine with in the next year or two. I also was debating on swapping the LT1 out for an LS1 is that a good idea or no.
