i searched and found this thread and i thought what the hell, so i tried it and my heater works great again. it wasnt heating up for nothing. still have to figure out why i it only blows thru the defrost vents where ever the *** is at.

Default flow control valve.

My 95 Z28 has one also.
I'll get rid of it some day soon.

I've tried squeezing the lines and it didn't work. I'm going to flush the heater core with 2 bottles of Prestone super flush this weekend. Hope it works, if not then it will have to be replaced. I'm not a big fan of replacing it myself...but we'll have to see..

i used the prestone, drove around with it in for a day. and it helped. its good stuff and worth a try.
