wow that site is really going to help me out thanks and yes im getting a 98 hood and yeah im buying after market head lights (I've also noticed that fogging inside the bulbs in the newer models, it does the same with my older model bulbs too, but not as bad)

 

also if you guys want to see a picture of kinda what my goal is.. here it is (minus those rims, convertable, maybe not the body kit, smoked headlights, and of course the two black racing stripes):

 

i do think the LT1 front end looks a little more aggressive, but i kinda like the LS1 better.
you should get an SS hood though, those look awesome
id like to have one myself...

 

I actually thought about doing that but the other way around.. soon as I get my LS1, I wanna swap it for the LT1 front end.. thats the only thing I dont like about the LS1.. just my opinion..

 

The only problem with going backwards is the new front end and hood are physically taller to accomodate the LS1 since it's a physically taller motor. You would need at least a different hood.
