hey everyone, i just picked up my new [well, new to me] 93 z28. has 19in black rims and the color is red. picked it up for 500$. it needs a headgasket.

i am not sure i should do it myself. if i have a shop do it, what should i expect to pay? thanks in advance!

 

depends on what is wrong and what is done. just replacing head gaskets would run 900 to 1300 depending on the shop.

 

okay thanks, im gonna try and attempt to do it with the help of a friends dad. ive replaced the heads and gaskets on my 97 mustang. but never on a camaro. should i expect to run into any problems? as in problems that everyone has while doing this. thanks!
