Hey guys, I just wanted to see if this is normal (i know engine light isnt normal) But my oil pressure drops pretty low when at idle. I have no clue how to make check engine light go away. it will come on after driving for about 5 mins.

The light means there is something wrong with EFI/emission system. Step one is to flash the code. This movie is painful to watch and had a lot of incorrect information but the proceedure is right.
Your oil pressure is almost perfect. Many new cars do not have better oil pressure then that. Low is the little red line at the bottom of the gage.
BTW you posted in the 4th gen section your car is a 3rg gen

You have excellent oil pressure. 40+ psi at idle is very good, especially with an older car. And it's perfectly normal for the pressure to go up when the rpm's do. You see that red mark right above the 0? That's the "way low" point.
For the check engine light, the way to make it go away is disconnect and reconnect your battery. But if the issue that made it go on is still present, the light will be back.
First thing, you want to find out why it's on. Grab yourself a paper clip and read this: https://camaroforums.com/forum/82-92...d-codes-20385/

If my 93 had 40 psi at idle, I'd never look at the oil pressure gauge. Most of the time I see 10-15 psi at idle, 20 while cruising, and 60 if I get on it. You barely went past 2500 rpm and had 60 psi! How many miles are on this?

if the oil pressure sensor is failing the gauge can jump up to 80 and back to normal. not sure if they all do that but mine did. 93 codes are flashed the same as a 3rd gen. and the codes are pretty much the same.
