Default 93-96 and 98 Camaro

How compatible would parts from a 98 camaro be on a camaro from 93-96?(not sure of the exact year) I mean all parts but more specifically either taking teh engine from the earlier camaro and putting it in the 98 or taking teh transmission from the 98 and putting it in an older model.

not very compatible. 93-97 used the LT1 V8 which was closer to a gen 1 small block and the 98-02 cars used the LS1 V8 which is far superior. The transmissions are not interchangeable and to swap an LT1 into an LS1 car would be like reverse engineering. the 98+ cars are more desirable for their better drivetrains and updated body style

Unless its a V6. The 3800 are about the same 96-98. 93-95 is a 3.4 V6 The 93 trans is a different animal.
