Man is it had to find parts for this Camaro. Front end body parts are the worst. I bought it for $600.00 with a 396 out of a 68 SS Chevelle. I plan on installing a stroked and bored 454, the 396 barely fit ( 1/2 inch to power booster ). Will a 454 fit this camaro? I'll stick with a four speed but I don't think the 10 bolt will handle my driving. Any info on this year is greatly appreciated.

 

The 396 and 454 are the same externally. If the 396 fits so will a 454.
