Default 6.0 swap

so ive been thinking about it and im going to be swapping in the LQ9 in the maro next fall. im sick of the lt1, opti spark and obd1. for the cost of bob baileys ls1 coil kit i can buy a LQ9. the 6.0 stock has 345hp, so with a ls6 intake, cam and headers 400+ should be pretty easy. so if anyone is looking for a complete lt1 w/wiring, ecu and a t56 let me know.

LQ9, trying to remember what that is. Isn't that similar to an ls engine, but iron? Came in trucks right? lol, I'm more curious about the torque than hp, heavy, but it should pull (if I'm thinking of the right engine)

Sounds like a really cool plan. Can't wait to see how it goes.

the full size trucks run a cast iron block version of the ls motor(4.8,5.3.6.0,6.2) the 6.0 stock makes 380 torque. Ali did your buddy use a ls sub frame or run adapter plates?

not a bad idea. its a good motor ive seen some of the swaps where the people keep the truck intake im not sure if its better or not but if i did this swap id swap it do full exhaust and spray it and itll run lik a champ
