5th Gen. Car Cover Fits a 4th Gen? Anyone Know?

Hi members this is a quick post

there's just way too much info out there on the web and if u could be neighborly and if u all knew off the top of your head the following, some are horror stories that these don't fit even though they purport they do or they aren't waterproof even when they purport they do:

i own a 93 base 4th gen. with spoiler.

i am looking for a quality car cover and found one on amazon as shown below,

*here is what i found and here's my question
is a 5th generation car cover large enough to fit a 1993 Camaro Base v-6?

I am looing for a waterproof quality Car Cover that fits my Camaro

Here are 2 sold by 2 companies on Amazon:
USCarCover Fully Custom Fit Waterproof Car Cover Recent Mustang Camaro Challenger with Fleece Lining (Camaro Fifth/Sixth generation 2007–2016)

it's 118 bucks but money is no object, i am looking for it being truly outdoor tested / waterproof material, even though i live in southern california and also to be shipped to me by a reputable on line seller like amazon dot com in 2 days or less.

1 amazon reviewer gave it 5 out of 5 stars. and compared it to the prestigious car cover company Coverdale

I am using amazon prime so I can get this in 2 days even though I know there are other better markets (like Coverdale or the California Car Car Company)....

2) OxGord Car Cover - Basic Out-Door 4 Layers - Tough Stuff - Ready-Fit Semi Custom - Fits up to 204 Inches $55 includes free shipping (but some amazon dot com customers claim it's kinda thin)

thanks everyone have a happy Easter

oh, i am adding bungey cords to prevent the san diego california wind from blowing the car cover off..... and they do work well....

so please remember my concern is quality and even if there is a lot of slack, I'd rather err on getting one bigger than one where some customers claim it might be too tight. The slack or extra size doesn't bother me, I would just tuck it under the wheel well and add bungey cords.

typo: california car cover company. awesome worth the wait in shipping. thick. made for race cars. outdoor. defintiely water proof for sure. i just had to get the name right: "California Car Cover Company," they sell tan thick car covers and they are well known with palm trees and pockets for car mirrors on the doors. I just want to get a thick outdoor car cover that fits a 1993 CAmaro on amazon *with 2 day shipping due to an emergency) and was wondering if any of those 2 car covers I listed in this post fit the bill. thanks member-friends ...

What kind of crappy cover does that? I had the California Car Cover Company "Storm Guard" Year round and the only issue I ever had was wind storms and the neighbors cat thinking it was a scratching post.

Careful when your say water proof, You want your cover to breath. A tarp or sealing type plastic will seal the water in and cause rusting in placed that don't normally rust. It sun that damages your car a heavy coat of wax with keep the water off.

I really don't think a 5th gen cover is going to fit a 4th gen like you want it to. 5th Gen is a very tall car. Have you looked at the storage bubbles? You did say money is not object.

Dont know what kind just seen them not only leave tons of scatches, but melt to the car in one case though the florida heat can be alot more nasty, i would just get a 4th gen cover ,i dont use covers for outside storage ,i use them only for inside an the breathable kind thats not water proof dont know they make one

thanks, the probably is what's on the outside the size chart is different in actual life when u apply it, just like with other stuff like clothes sold on line the size chart will be deceptive and the actual lets say t shirt is too tight or doesn't fit.

plus once u take out the car cover and it doesn't fit then putting it back in for a refund at like autozone is real difficult to foldd up back inside the box for a refund

anyway, those are real pricey Gorn nearly 1000 bucks and they kind of look odd in my opinion, I want to blend in my neighborhood.

thanks, though

thank you to you 2 both above

they make some have like fur inside an they do cost alot of money that are water repelant or resistant but not proof ,though some claim water proof ,the case that it stuck to the car the guy had 2 of them he had a regular cover,an a the plastic cover under it ,an left it for long time ,is how it stuck to the paint ,it was a paint cover realy just plastic
