Default 5 Speed MT ?'s

Well i jut took the 94 Camaro for a ride tonight and noticed the gears are getting hard to slid in thye go sometimes but also sometimes they seem to get tougher to get into gear and even grind. I am thinking clutch linkage slave cylinder or syncho's are goin bad in tranny. Whatcha ya'll think?

Methinks the clutch is going out on you. At least the hydraulic side of the clutch.

That does not make sence? Reverse is not Sync'ed. It should either grind or not grind and go in fine. I understand it not grinding but being hard in 1st gear cause the sycro stops the grinding.

I was assuming you clutch was not fully disengaging but that noramlly gives you a nasty grind going into reverse before it even makes it tuff to shift. I am not sure how you would fix hard to get into gear with a none synced gear. Unless like the whole counter gear was shifting?

Edit wait a second, You said you have to slam it. What happens if you try to put it reverse slowly?

What is the fluid level in the tranny? Not enough fluid can cause slow syncros and hard shifting.
