If the firebird is the same as a camaro, then you need reversed wipers.

I never knew about them till i bought a camaro and bought wipers. lol I know they are 24 inch, and i had the option of 24 or 24R. I though, no clue what the R meant..

turns out it means reversed. It clips on backwards to other wipers. This means no winter blades can go on m y car cause they don`t make reversed winter blades. lol

Anyways, theres many reversed kinds out there so no shortage!!!!

On these cars the wiper arm is inverted meaning the hook points upwards instead of towards the windshield. The wiper blades with the "R" as mentioned above are the only ones that will clean properly. I had to spend a lot of money on blades before I realized that.

The Anco 22-24 blades are what I found locally. It's like O'Reilly Auto Parts was reading this post or something. I looked all over town but nobody had the right part number in their system, and nobody had the Anco 22-24 on the shelf (same name brand & part number someone posted up on here early on). Then, out of the blue, O'Reillys started carrying the darn things on the shelf and even put the right part number in their system.

The Ancos work fine; $12.99 each. If anybody finds a winter blade that fits right and does a good job, post up.
