Default 4.10s ?

SO i just recieved a set of 4.10s and am planning on having them professionally installed.... I know that i'll need a computer tune to fix the tach and all, but does that have to be immediately after the gear install? Will not having the computer tuned/exchanged screw up driving with a steeper gear? Like would CAGS go insane or my speedo not work or anything that i might not be happy with? If its just the tach not being adjusted right, that i cuold deal with, im pretty good at shifting by ear....

It's the speedo that will be off. It will be reading fast.

If you don't adjust anything, your speed will read the same as it did at that given RPM. Only thing is, you'll actually be going slower.

My buddy has gears on his cobra and when he is going 75, the speedo says he's going 90....that's what he means.
