Default 383 with forged internals, it this possible?

Ok, I've bounced all over the place thinking of what to do next car wise. Pick up a new car and build from the ground up or just throw all of that money directly into the Trans Am. I've got an 01 WS6 and have come up with an idea I may pursue but I'm not sure how cost effective it would be. I've finally decided that I want to do something with forced induction. I originally considered a Supra but I'm not a huge fan of Japanese styling so I thought I might pick up a Grand National and build the hell out of that. Then I came up with the idea of stroking out my LS1 to a 383 using forged internals and supercharging it. I know I'll have an easy time finding a supercharger for it I'm mainly wondering if anybody knows of a kit out there to stroke out a LS1 with a forged crank, rods, and pistons. I've seen stroker kits out there but nothing forged. Just wondering if anybody knew of a place I could check out and see if the cost/power ratio would be worth it.

there's alot of forge lsx motors out there not sure where everyone gets there stuff from for the lsx motors but if you search you'll find stuff. it probably will be in the 5-6k dollar range for the shortblock thats just my estimate. if your real serious about buildin it check out www.ls1tech.com there are a TON of ppl that have done this and similiar builds
