My dad has a 6speed 30th with 25k miles. He wants to trade me for my auto 30th with 60k and he is going to sell my 30th. should i do it?

 

Would you rather have the 6 speed or an auto?

 

i like the auto but the 6sp is really fun to drive.

 

I would keep the auto, I couldn't trade a car knowing it was to be sold.

 

the reason the whole deal came about was he bought a firehawk. and he was going to sell me his ss. but my mom wants it, so he was going to trade her 30th to me because it has a 6sp. it isnt tinted otherwise its the same car. is there anything about the 6sp i should be woried about vs the auto.

 

That i couldn't help with,but someone on here will know, you may need to bump this a few times before they find it.

 

It depends on what you prefer. From what I know there isn't any paticular issues with the T56 transmission or the 4L60E, both are good, it's really what you prefer. If you can't decide between the two, evaluate what you want the car for, racing(auto), or general driving(6speed). Also consider the mileage of the two cars, if it were up to me, I'd take the 6 speed with less miles, providing it's in as good if not better condition than the one that you have right now.

 

The only thing more confusing then this is Rocket Science History, theDyslexic version. Are you timid? Can you drive stick? Dude, tell a chick you got a 6spd then tell you have an automatic, see her reaction. What's cooler to you? I'd go 6spd hands down, but I'm biased. Sorry, just sounds way cooler, a 6spd that is.

 

I would take the 6 speed, b/c of the miles and i love my 6 speed

 

well the girl thing is no help i am married. and yes i can drive a stick all our other cars are sticks. and there is going to be a 30th for sale soon.
