I guess I won't be getting my mail after that comment.... Lol. The ss is way faster then that Iroc. Just watch out the cops are everywhere this year.

hahaha, I think you're still good. I generally don't break the speed limits anymore, although we'll see how that holds up now that I am going to be driving a 325 hp Camaro. :3

Stock for stock sure the SS is faster, but the 350 goin' in the IROC is decidedly not stock- the computer software says around 270 hp and 400 torque, not to mention 3rd-gens are lighter and my 700r4's gear ratios aren't the same as my 4L60e's.

It'll be an interesting race I think~

I'll keep it in mind, lol.

Still waiting to hear back from them about the financing- the big issue is that it's older than banks generally want to use as collateral- so they have to try and get an exception for it.

I got the credit rating; worst case scenario I could possibly go and get an unsecured loan myself, if I had to.

Well and the other issue is that the Cobalt's running on empty now. I don't want to waste my money putting gas in it if I don't have to, lol.

I picked her up today and brought her home with me tonight~ The terms of the loan weren't the best, but once I am working both jobs again I can pay it down pretty quick I think. I'm still saving money for not having to put collision insurance on it.

It's too dark to get any pictures now but I promise I will have several for tomorrow~

So I've been driving it for a week and a half now, which has been about 800 miles. It's been a busy week, lol.

There are a couple things that weren't immediately noticeable that've come up. The speakers in both doors aren't working right- they make a crackling noise if I turn the volume up too much. Not a big deal, that's what the fade control is for

Neither of my 12v sockets are working. That means no iPod for me, luckily I was able to dig up a half dozen CDs to toss in the changer, but it'd be nice to listen to all of my music again.

And most concerning is that it idles erratically when cold, as soon as I put it in reverse- revs will jump between 250 and 1000 rpm and it won't even out until it's in drive and I start going again. After that though, everything's great~

I'm very happy to be driving a Camaro again though and I'm so glad I traded the Cobalt, I can't stop talking about it and I'm probably starting to annoy everyone around me, lol.

Change the fuel filter and add some injection cleaner. If the car was sitting on the lot the gas may have started to go bad and gummed up the injectors a little. Its a very common issue with used cars.

Will do Gorn, thanks. Puts my mind at ease that it'd be something simple like that.

Oh, and hay, this looks familiar.
