Default 2002 Chevy Camaro SS questions..

OK guys first post here.. and no I'm not a Chevy hater so don't start flaming. (I drive a Chevy too)
Anyways here is the question...
one of my good friends that lives in the same town as me. He said that with a good set of MT drag slicks on his 2002 Camaro SS. All factory except for a hurst short throw, better flow new intake, and 150 shot of fogger (wet). 1. will brake into the 10's in a 1/4 mile. 2. will pop a wheelie get both tires off the groud. 3. out run a busa. standing 1/4s! is this possible or is he pulling my leg??

thanks,
Jye

1: I'm calling BS, if he said low 12's I would believe him
2: No way you can hit that with a stock rear-end and only drag radials
3: Busa is a 9 second bike stock...must have been a slow Busa

as the mighty fuzzy one said.... world record for a stock LS1 is 12.8 so if you live at sea level or below and you friends a redonkulousgood driver 12.7-12.6 with the slicks. then with the giggle juice were talking maybe another second so high 11s. 11 second cars do not lift the tires specially not without a tras brake..... and once again busa is a 9 second bike.....so unless it was "does best boondocksaints irish cop accent" some huuuuge freakin guy..... on the busa theres nooooooo way

Thanks for the reply guys! That was what I thought. I mean I knew they were quick cars.. but I didn't think it was 10 seconds quick.. not with just a new intake, short throw and 150 wet shot.. as far as popping wheelies and out running a busa.. i think he must of had the NOS hooked up to his nose before he told me!

what they said, i can see it hanging with a busa from a roll, def not a dig, and it would need that entire 150 shot to do so... im not positive but im pretty sure 1/2 the reason busas have such a low E/T is because their 60 foot is like 1 sec flat lol, and yeah it is a 9 second bike but keep in mind guys thats with a PRO rider, yeah they are still quick but if you've ever ran a bike at a track its harder than it looks, in my opinion, the front wheel always seems to wanna jump up on u or you can't get off the line fast enough, its pretty tricky.

You're totally wrong about the Busas, they do not 60 foot all that well, the reason they do so well is that they MOH like crazy. From a roll he is toast.

good day JD, lets just say your 11 second car pops a wheelie.. and from your sig it looks like you had some mods done to your car too.. but do you think a stock 2002 SS with 150 wet shot, short thorw, slicks, and better flow intake will out run your car? (remember he claims he can break into the 10's)
