Default 2001 camaro stereo system installation

hey guys this is my installation thread of my double din multimedia head unit/deck/receiver, and my Alpine type E 10 inch subs, Alpine 500 watt amp, and my capacitor. Ill try and include as many pictures as possible. don't expect me to fly threw this, ive bought almost everything but some wires and brackets.

alright well i took my dash plat/bezel off, to see what i will have to do to it to make the new reciever fit

Did you seriously get a cap for a system that small??? My buddy has a Firebird that's running over 1500watt rms and he doesn't have a cap.. Could have saved your money there and got some nice door speakers. That's my .02

ya there alpine type-E subs, and i dont know why i got the cap, i just like the look of it, and heard that you should have one for better performing stereos. and it came with the wiring kit which was only like 80 bucks. i couldnt get bigger subs,b/c i couldnt get a bigger amp.any bigger of an amp and it wouldnt fit in the side cavity in the runk where im putting it

hey guys finnaly got around to taking the monsson headunit out. now i have a big holw in the dash!;

Notice the gap on the left and right, im going to be putting the top pice that i cut off, and put it on the sides to fill the gap:

Looks good. On another note, your camera is junk Haha. maybe it was just the light but I think I can actually see each individual pixel
