2001 Black SS but is it a real SS? i didnt think they came with cloth.

 

I've never seen an auto SS either... But I dunno

 

Ive seen autos just never with cloth... its just soooo ugly with cloth.. my Camaro had leatherTrans Am seats and i loved it.. but Cloth camaro seats... in a SS... thats strange in my opinion..

 

i didnt see a ss plaque on the dash, might just be a Z28 wth ss parts on it. the title says its a z28.

 

yeah with the SS package and it has the rear decal so maybe its just a replica. idk.

Anyway, call them or just ask to see the RPO codes, thats a quick way to figure it out. I dont know if its close to you or not but unless they got an SS door that would tell you for sure.

 

Well the reason i asked is because its 3 hours away lol and if i did even consider it id have to go out there to look at it and i wouldnt drive that far for nothing. I mean SS replica or not it looks nice, with 57k under 10k thats a pretty good deal imho... its just not close lol.

 

All 4th Gen SS's are considered a "Z28/SS" thus the reason it shows up as a "Z28" if you run a carfax or something along those lines on it. The only requirement for an SS Camaro was the exterior package, they were assembled in the GM factory and then shipped to SLP for their exterior parts and any other packages that were ordered. The car could be a legit SS if it was specifically ordered with a cloth interior. The only way to really know is to get the VIN and contact SLP, they should be able to tell you every package the car was ordered with by running the VIN.

 

Well i looked up the Vin and if i followed the directions right then it is an SS.. but with cloth interior? Really? it must have been custom ordered by someone who didnt like sticking to leather when its hot.

 

i thought you wanted a trans Am,comeon dude make up your freaking mind all ready.
