Does anyone know what a stock 2000 SS does on the 1/4 mile?

Does the SLP package make a difference? I heard yes ..........

 

mid to low 13s is what u can expect. the SS package is essentially a visual upgrade. the performance advantage is so minor you wont actually be able to measure it.

 

That's what I was thinking. I'm taking mine to the strip in two weeks and apparently I have 3 mustangs waiting in line for me. All three are GTs. The only one I really "fear" is a '95 Twin Turbo pushing a good 500 horses. The other two are mostly stock with a few minor tweaks in exhaust upgrades.

 

well, if a TT 5.0 has a decent driver its going to eat you alive. but other than that there are very few mustangs that can hang with an ls1 NA. most stock cube foxes, and all NA 2v 4.6L's will see ur tails if ur doing it right.

 

Oh the 95 TT 5.0 will rape me, I know that. It'll be fun just to see how I can push my car. As for the other two 4.6s, I looked them up and I think I have a better chance. I'm hoping. We shall see. It's all in "fun" .................

 

what year are the other 2? the 3v's can hold their own with a few mods, but the 2v's need a supercharger or nitrous to even hang.

 

At first, I was to take on a '94, the TT '95, and a 99. The '94 is dropping out and so someone else with a 99-03 is coming on board .....

 

You should be fine. Even with my LT1 camaro i can walk away from the mid-late 90's gt's(obviously not TT'd tho lol). I havent gotten to race a new one yet

 

I can beat a new one with my LT1, I have the timeslip to prove it too.

 

I'm so excited. It's supposed to be all in fun, which in away it is. Yet, I've always been an avid bow-tie fan and a huge blue oval hater ... so beating all three would be great ... at least two though. I did some research and found that I think I can really hold my own with mine being somewhat stock.
