There is this guy that comes into my shop that gets 275/40R17 BFG Drag Radials on his lighter aftermarket corvette drag wheels, and has a CAI, exhaust cut out and tune on his 1999 WS6. He comes in and show the slip for his ETs (automatic transmission) and ran a 12.9 consistent when he had about 60k miles. Then he neglected his maintenance up until 150K and ran 13.3s consistant. He invested in KYB AGX shocks and did a good tune up and only saw a 13.0 flat best of day with the shocks adjusted to the firmest setting.

A newer GTO LS1 will see consistent 13.3s all day but you got to remember how much better that interior is and how far superior the handling is. And just a quick bolt ons put the GTO in the low 12s. I would take the WS6 for straight line every day, but for practicality, the GTO is far better. And they aren't that expensive for the low mileage.

he's had it for sale for a while. it's back on the OE rims, but for the price and with 75,000 on it, i don't think it's to bad.

this dude think's he has a five speed in his camaro which he paid almost $50,000 for!

and this guy is steep, but he had a nice car.
